Why We're Here 

We have found that it is harder than ever to find quality antique hardware.  We are addressing this need through our company.  We realized many of our furniture customers were not just restoring their furniture, they were restoring their homes as well.  It was almost impossible for our customers to find authentic quality hinges, locks and knobs.  We now make this commodity available to the public.

Our Business

When the company Bob worked for closed their doors he decided to use his management and technical experience to strike out on his own.  Starting with $150 and a briefcase, he has built a company to be proud of.  By placing the customer first and focusing on quality we have seen our customer base grow and our name become well known throughout the East Coast. 

Who We Are

Bob Moore began restoring antiques over 50 years ago with an antiques and upholstery business.  He chose to branch out on his own 35 years ago and establish RJ Moore Furniture.  RJ Moore Hardware has been up and running for the past 8 years.  Bob makes all the keys for locks, restores Mortise, Rim, and Chest locks, and restores antiques. 

Bonnie Moore has worked for the business for 30 years.  She handles the bookkeeping, furniture stripping, and customer service.  She is always welcoming customer questions and concerns and will answer you in a timely manner.
